A WOMAN was arrested for beating her eight-year-old stepson to death on Sunday, police said yesterday in Qinghai Province.
Cai Wenzhen, 37, admitted hitting the boy with a rolling pin for 40 minutes on Sunday evening because she was not happy with his schoolwork, said Wang Dong, a police officer with the Xining Public Security Bureau of the province.
