Death toll five in chemical blast

AT least five people died in a chemical plant explosion on Thursday, government sources in Wucheng County in east China's Shandong Province said yesterday.
The accident occurred at 3:30pm in a Heli Chemical Company building which was under a trial operation. The blast killed the project director immediately and injured 13 others.
Four of them died later in hospital and one remained in critical condition.
Initial findings showed that all the dead and injured were migrant workers. Investigation is continuing.
