Help after blast
THE government has offered support to the injured and residents whose houses were damaged after a deadly blast on Saturday morning in Xiaogan City of central China's Hubei Province, municipal authorities said yesterday.
The government has allocated 2 million yuan ($US293,000) to cover the medical cost of the injured and accommodate those who lost homes. Four died and 25 others were injured. A total of 2,096 houses were damaged, including 26 that collapsed and 29 left unlivable. Investigation is still underway.
