Man kills wife, son in Beijing home
A MAN stabbed his wife and 10-year-old son to death early yesterday morning in their home in Beijing in the same complex where a man had killed six of his family a month before.
Zhang Wuli, 38, called police after the killing spree, China National Radio reported today.
He allegedly dipped into his wife's blood and wrote "for the people" on the wall.
He allegedly told police he had killed his wife and son in a sporadic fit of insanity, as he couldn't remember why he killed them.
Police said a psychiatrist will assess him and are investigating. Zhang allegedly told them he had an unhappy marriage, though he repeatedly described his wife as a nice woman.
Both Zhang and his 37-year-old wife are bank clerks. They moved to suburban Beijing's Daxing District a year ago.
