Man shot dead after getting money from bank

A MAN was shot dead in the head today shortly after withdrawing money from a bank in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province.

The man died on the spot, Website Hunan.voc.com.cn reported.

He was approaching a Hyundai car on Furong Road S. with his niece waiting in the car, the Website cited a witness as saying.

He had walked 50 meters from a bank where he had withdrawn 45,000 yuan (US$6,591) in cash, an unnamed bank clerk told the Website.

The report didn't specify whether his money was taken. A woman friend told the Website the victim is Guo Chaoyun, 41, a businessman from Jiangsu Province.
