HK confirms 8 new A/H1N1 flu cases

EIGHT more people have tested positive for A/H1N1 flu in Hong Kong, bringing the city's total number of confirmed cases to 92. Hong Kong health officials made the announcement Sunday.

Among the eight new cases, five were foreign visitors -- three from United States, one from Thailand and another from the Philippines. Other infections involved three teenage girls from St. Paul's Convent School in Hong Kong, where 16 students and family members have tested positive for A/H1N1 flu since June 10th.

The Hong Kong government made the decision last Thursday to close all primary schools and kindergartens for two weeks following the first cluster of local cases.
