Lewd literature

MANY best-sellers have lost what I call "literary integrity" as they cater only to money and vulgarity. Everyone who plies his or her trade in literature and art should guard against surrendering spiritual values to market forces.

Culture should not degrade itself into an industry that often survives on the vulgar tastes of the market.
