A festival of fun for Mother’s Day

THE Place Mall in Hongqiao will hold a sports carnival for kids next weekend, featuring a series of interactive activities and sports. The carnival organizer has teamed up with local professional sports organizations and clubs, providing kids a hands-on opportunity to experience and learn to play a number of sports, including tennis, baseball, surfing, soccer and football.
An artificial beach area will allow children to build their own sand castles, do some fishing or simply play games on the “beach.”
The Genius Workshop will display a number of Lego models, plus a robotics show and interactive games for little techies. There will also be a kids’ skateboard competition, as well as games and yummy treats such as waffles and ice cream. Don’t forget to enter the lucky draw! Prizes include a free packaged tour to Phuket, one-month free courses at UPBOX Soccer School, sponsored backpack bags and sports kits.
