Best of ‘Dads’ on display at IKEA store

SINO-SWEDISH photo exhibition “Dads” is currently on at IKEA Beicai Store. It features 25 sets of photos along with the works of Swedish photographer Johan Bavman.
Initiated on International Women’s Day by the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai, the campaign aims to raise awareness of the function and importance of fathers in a modern family. The campaign received more than 15,000 submissions till the end of April.
A photo by Zhang Hui, a primary school teacher in Shanghai, and his son won the top prize — a free family package trip to Sweden. Freelance photographer Li Quanwei from Beijing won a special prize as he voluntarily took three years off to stay with his son.
The photographs are also displayed at the People’s Square Station on Metro Line 1 until tomorrow. You can vote for your favorite photo on the official WeChat account (ID: Isweden) of the Consulate General until August 31.
