CHARITY flea markets are popular both among young people and fashionists who want to make room in their overflowing closets for new fashions, and canny shoppers who want to save some cash.
In addition to bringing together people who have things they don't use anymore and others who might want the goods, flea markets are also simply fun! They provide a great opportunity for rummaging around among everything from clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories to handicrafts, books, appliances, toys, pet items, kitchenware and art crafts.
So if you're tempted to embark on some wheeling and dealing, stalls for the weekend cost 160 yuan (US$26). Be sure to check the stall information by email. This charity flea market is being held to raise money for needy families in the community.
