ChinaJoy promises loads of fun for hardcore gamers, cosplay fans

THE 2014 China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference (ChinaJoy) is going to bring some fun to the city this summer. This year’s Expo comprises a B to C Interactive Entertainment Exhibition and a C to C Comprehensive Business Negotiation event. In the meantime, there will be a Next Gen Arcade Console and Home Entertainment Expo, a Comic & Animation World Amazing Expo and the ever popular ChinaJoy Cosplay Competition.
The B to C Interactive Entertainment Exhibition includes 1,500 game consoles open to visitors and gives gamers a chance to give their thoughts to 480 companies that make the games. There will also be hardware on display.
The C to C Comprehensive Business Negotiation builds a platform for professionals in the gaming sector to cut some deals. Having been held every year since 2004, the ChinaJoy Cosplay final will include more than 1,000 contestants.
Date: July 31-August 3
Admission: 70 yuan (July 31/August 1) and 120 yuan (August 2-3)
