Eco-fashion store pops up in city

THE first eco pop-up store in Shanghai has opened in Xintiandi Style. A variety of eco-friendly fashion items are available at this temporary shop that will be there through April 20. Sustainability and environmentally friendly are the keywords for the goods on sale there.
In the E Pod Eco Design Shop, fashionistas can find fun clothing, accessories, cosmetics and home decor by young designers and brands embracing green ethics, from design through to production. Among the highlights are women and children’s clothing using natural soya and bamboo fabrics, cotton, hand-woven handbags and all-natural, plant-based body care products.
A series of fashion seminars will be held every weekend during the coming month when fashion fans and designers will share their ideas on eco-fashion.
