High class frills
PRIVATE Shop, Hong Kong's leading retailer of high-class lingerie brands from Europe and the United States, recently launched its flagship store for the Chinese mainland at Shanghai Times Square.
The store, on the center's third floor, stocks an up-to-date collection of exclusive European lingerie brands, such as Aubade, Princesse tam tam, Lejaby, Ritratti, Huit and Simone Perele.
Shanghai celebrity singer Ni Ruisi attended the ribbon cutting ceremony: "I'm so happy that Private Shop has finally come to Shanghai,'' she said. "I have been a loyal customer for many years and always make a trip there when I am in Hong Kong.
"Beautiful and well-fitted lingerie makes a woman feel special, elegant and most importantly, confident,'' she added. "Every woman should have a chance to feel this way.''
Founded in Hong Kong in 1994, Private Shop currently runs 23 stores in Hong Kong, Macau and major cities on the Chinese mainland, including Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Chengdu.
"We're delighted at the success of Private Shop in Hong Kong and feel now is the right time to invest in key cities on Chinese mainland,'' said James Simkins, director of corporate development in South East Asia at Getz Bros & Co Private Shop's parent company.
