International music, dance extravaganza set, and it’s free!

THE Shanghai Fete de la Musique — Festival of Music — this weekend is to celebrate the arrival of summer. The festival promises an audio and visual feast to music fans of all tastes and ages with various genres of classical and contemporary music, dance and performances. Performers ranging from the French jazz singer Anne Evenou to jazz band CJW to Katncandix2 are on the slate.
One of the venues of the festival, Sinan Mansion, will present a music extravaganza performed by prestigious musicians from all over the world. The open outdoor stage lets music fans gather together to enjoy the beat close while getting close to the musicians. The performance will incorporate cultural diversity as welll as various styles of music to energize music aficionados.
There will also be a series of performances of instruments, dancing and singing from globally known musicians and singers every weekend from 2pm to 5pm in June.
