JAR’s Animal Rescue launching adopt-a-pet day

JAR’S Animal Rescue adoption day will offer animal lovers a chance to take a little furry friend on September 10. JAR is a local group of expat and Chinese individuals who have dedicated a part of their lives to rescuing and rehoming stray and abandoned animals off the streets of Shanghai. The organization doesn’t have a shelter and all the animals rescued will be sent to foster homes.
JAR’s adoptable pets are all vaccinated, de-wormed and defleaed. Depending on their age, most of the pets are already spayed or neutered. Their monthly adoption day events are scheduled throughout the year to find these animals a loving foster family or a permanent home. So far the organization has helped more than 600 dogs and 500 cats to find a home.
