Lee Kit exhibit in HK

“SOMETHING you can’t leave behind,” Lee Kit’s first exhibition at Massimo De Carlo in Hong Kong recently opened to the public.

The gallery was first opened by Massimo De Carlo in Milan in 1987. In 2009, De Carlo opened one in London and another in Hong Kong in 2016.

Lee’s works are deeply rooted in his personal surroundings and daily experiences. Through a wide array of mediums that include painting, drawing, video and installations, the artist explores the human sphere of emotions.

Splitting his time between Taipei and Hong Kong, Lee shares his latest reflection and thoughts through his new collection. Reflecting on the habits that dominate our daily lives, he engrosses the viewers into a cryptic yet intimate experience.

In addition to exhibitions, his solo project “It was a cinema” was presented at Massimo De Carlo’s booth in the Kabinett section at Art Basel 2017. Lee Kit also took part in the 55th Venice Biennale.
