LOOKING to foster or adopt a furry friend? Local animal rescue organization SSAPA is holding its monthly adoption fair today. All cats and dogs up for adoption are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and de-wormed. Most are among the few lucky ones saved by animal lovers from thousands of unwanted pets abandoned onto the streets by their owners each year. So make a difference by giving these pets a home away from the winter chill and lavish them with love and care.
Both those interested in fostering and those who are sure they want to adopt are welcome, and if you just want to come down and meet with the animals, that's fine too.
Donations from kind-hearted visitors go towards paying for food, veterinary bills and other costs in looking after SSAPA's charges.
Date: Today, 11am-3pm
