Pick fresh blackberries in Jinshan District

THE first Jinshan Blackberry Picking Cultural Festival began yesterday and lasts a month. Visitors can pick blackberries, taste blackberry ice-cream and blackberry juice in the planting base. The fruit is rich in vitamin C, amino acids, ellagic acid and tastes great. A ticket is 100 yuan (US16.1) per person, which includes one 2kg basket of blackberries. You can purchase more blackberries for 60 yuan per kilogram on site. Upon arrival, remember to pick up a pair of disposable gloves and little baskets for free. Call in advance as the visitors’ number is limited at 150 per day.
