Powerhouse Sam Smith promises to thrill Shanghai
CREDITED as “the English pop and soul powerhouse,” Sam Smith is back with his second album “The Thrill of It All” and he is going on a world tour.
Born in London, the 26-year-old singer and songwriter rose to fame in 2012 when featuring on Disclosure’s breakthrough single “Latch.”
One year later he got his first number one single “La La La” collaborating with Naughty Boy.
After winning the 2014 Brit Critics’ Choice Award and the BBC’s Sound of 2014, Smith released his first solo album “In The Lonely Hour” including masterpieces like “I’m Not the Only One,” “Lay Me Down” and “Money on My Mind.”
The album’s third single “Stay with Me” was an international success, reaching number one in the UK and number two on the US Billboard Hot 100.
His brilliant composition and sensational voice has brought him huge success锛 and in 2015 the talent won four Grammy Awards including Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
At the end of 2017, Smith released his second album “The Thrill of It All,” of which the lead single “Too Good at Goodbyes” reached number one in the UK and Australia and number four in the US.
After numerous countries like America, Canada, Singapore and Japan, Smith will make his Chinese debut in Shanghai.
