A GLOBAL operation across all five continents has resulted in arrests and the seizure of thousands of animals and illicit products worth more than 25 million euros (US$34.4 million). The operation coordinated by Interpol focused particularly on illegal activities relating to the trade and possession of endangered reptiles such as turtles and snakes, including boa constrictors. Nile crocodiles, ball pythons and Kilimanjaro two-horn lizards were seized.
