Spotify launches in Germany
SPOTIFY went live in Germany on Tuesday with its service, which gives users access to music on computers for free as long as they listen to a few 15-second ads.
The company also offers a computer-only version that strips out the ads for US$6.55 a month, or a service that can be used on mobile devices including iPhones and Android-powered devices for US$13 a month.
The service has previously been available in 12 countries, including the US, UK, France and Spain. It has 10 million active users, including 3 million of whom pay for its service.
