The French-language "Romeo & Julliette," based on Shakespeare's classic tragedy, premiered in 2001 and has been widely staged. World Animation All-star Tour

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of Titanic, a world tour stops by Shanghai to showcase more than 300 artifacts salvaged from the debris of the superliner. The exhibition also restores the cabins and deck and a marvelous winding stair in the first-class cabin.

New Year's Eve Countdown
Last year, the fireworks and 3D light show - the first of its kind in the city - lit up the sky over the Huangpu River. This New Year's Eve, a 4D light show will be the centerpiece of celebrations. Thousands of revelers are expected at the Bund, on both the Puxi and Pudong sides of the Huangpu River, for the laser light show featuring people's faces from every corner of China. And of course, festivities wouldn't be complete without a countdown to welcome in the new year.
