Touring cars roam racing circuit today

Touring cars from more than 10 racing teams in China are ready to roam the Shanghai International Circuit today during the final round of the China Touring Car Championship (CTCC).
Racers from China’s mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau are going to compete for the champion of Super Production and China Production. Hong Kong racer Andy Yan from Chang’an Ford Racing Team is expected to nail his second champion of Super Production, while his teammate Jiang Tengyi is going to fight with renowned racers such as Wang Rui and Han Han from Shanghai VW 333 Racing Team to be the runner-up.
Some of the well-known racers such as Shanghai writer and racer Han Han, and China’s first Formula One racer Ma Qinghua, all made their name through CTCC.
Meanwhile, the final round of the FIA World Touring Car Championship will also take place after the CTCC finals. French racer Yvan Muller has already bagged his fourth championship in Suzuka, Japan. But the return of Volvo’s Polestar Racing team and the legendary former WTCC champion and Swedish racer Rickard Rydell is also a big draw.
