Viennese Ball At Hyatt On The Bund
EXPERIENCE the glamor of a traditional ball by being a part of the first Viennese Ball in China. The Austrian Consulate is flying in famous Austrian performers, from the orchestra to ballet dancers, singers and DJs, to show how it's done!
Live music will be performed by the Schonbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna and violin soloist Lidia Baich. Conductor Matthias Fletzberger was a child prodigy accepted into the University of Music in Vienna at the age of five. Renowned ballet dancer Gregor Hatala - the first solo dancer with the Vienna State Opera Ballet - is choreographing and performing the ballet portion of the event. Austrian celebrity singer Valerie Sajdik, two-time winner of the Austrian Music Awards "Amadeus," will be the moderator for the evening, guiding revellers through the festivities.
The only difference between this Shanghai ball and famous balls held in Vienna is that here you get a five-course dinner too - prepared by the Austrian chefs at the Hyatt on the Bund. And if that isn't enough of a reason to go, how about the chance to win two return flights to Austria with Emirates, or a painting by famous Austrian artist Alois Nimmervoll, valued at more than US$5000.
Date: May 4, 6:30pm to the wee hours of the morning
Tickets: 1,888 yuan for Ballroom Seating; 1,288 yuan for Foyer Seating (ticket price per person)
