A themed salon was held recently in Shanghai by new media platform Retail Connection, bringing together guests from the retail and e-commerce industries.
Representative from T-Mall, China’s largest e-commerce platform, I Research, one of the China’s earliest researching organizations focusing on the Internet industry, as well as from luxury brands such as Chanel, Hermes, Clarks and Loreal, gathered to share views about the difficulties, opportunities and trends of brands in the e-commerce and m-commerce era.
Ricky Xie, T-mall’s apparel marketing lead elaborated on how to restructure the relationship between consumers and the brands, while Melody Wan, sales manager of I Research, explained the organization’s “2017 China’s M-Commerce Industry Research Report,” which shows that established brands are becoming the main power of m-commerce.
