THE Color Run, called the “happiest 5k on the planet,” will return to Shanghai in September. Now the world’s single largest running event series, The Color Run has exploded since its debut in January, 2012.
The Color Run is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which thousands of participants are doused with different colored pigments at each kilometer. It’s an event for all fitness levels, ages and backgrounds. There are only two rules: wear white at the starting line and finish plastered in color!
The fun continues after the race with an unforgettable Finish Festival. This larger-than-life party will feature music, dancing and massive color throws, which create millions of vivid color combinations.
The Color Run focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle and hopes to act as a catalyst for participants to live an active, healthy life.
