ECHOES of the Rainbow (2010, Hong Kong)
Set during the 1960s in British-governed Hong Kong and narrated by an eight-year-old boy, this film tells the story of the boy's hard-working family who suddenly have to cope with adversity when his older brother, a prize student and star athlete, becomes ill with leukemia.It shows how a variety of changes are a great hindrance to happiness. But in the end, the greatest thief of all is time.
