THE legend of Cartier Tank shone in Shanghai on Friday night. The renowned French jeweler and watchmaker hosted a grand event at the Shanghai Exhibition Center themed "Never Stop Tank,'' devoted to its iconic line of Tank watches, first introduced in 1917. Guests first entered a Tank time tunnel, lined with more than 30 presentations, where they learned the entire Tank family history. The event not only showcased the history of the Tank family but also introduced a newcomer to the range - the Tank Anglaise. The new Tank watch embodies the pioneering spirit of Tank by boldly hiding its crown in the vertical brancards and revealing only its inlaid precious stones. Guests at the "Never Stop Tank,'' event included the world-famous Italian movie star Monica Bellucci, on her first visit to China, and Asian superstar Andy Lau.
