Emilio Pucci opens boutique
EMILIO Pucci is strengthening its presence in China with an event celebrating the brand’s new Shanghai flagship boutique. The Shanghai boutique is in Plaza 66 and is designed by architect Joseph Dirand, which draws inspiration from the Pucci Maison’s renaissance-era Florentine headquarters.
A craftsmanship presentation was open to the public. An expert print artisan took attendees through an “insider’s look” of how a signature Pucci scarf comes to life, starting from the inspiration behind the design, through hand-drawn sketches and production techniques to the final product. The event presented the making of the “Duomo” print.
