HIGH street brand H&M unveiled its 2018 Studio fall/winter collection with a runway show collaborated with Tmall, China’s e-commerce giant. Against a setting of the 1950s American style, the premium line looks to the past for inspiration. The designers try to add classic menswear items into a woman’s daily outfits, by mix-matching the wardrobes of two fashion icons: Marilyn Monroe and James Dean. The collection puts an emphasis on cardigan sweaters, leather jackets and woolen coats, with a skillful use of asymmetrical designs.
