HERMES recently presented its spring/summer 2017 accessories at its Shanghai Maison. The new collection includes silks for men and women, leather goods, its jewelry range by Pierre Hardy, watches and stunning outdoor cushions. Colors range from classic Hermes tones to bright hues ideal for the coming season. Some of highlights include the On a Summer Day scarf designed by artist Nigel Peake, who creates a cheerful and dynamic geometric composition inspired by a summer stroll through the city. The Chaine d’ancre punk line features a punk-rock style that is playful and unexpected while several women’s bags take inspiration from the Maison’s archives. Designed by Robert Dumas in 1938, the Verrou clutch is a structured bag with clean lines, decorated with the characteristic clasp suggesting a box-stall lock.
