LIXIL’s new store

JAPANESE housing material group LIXIL recently unveiled its first full-home store at Red Star Macalline’s branch in Putuo District, Shanghai. Covering 600 square meters, the store displays a variety of interior design of living space, with customized furniture, building materials and accessories. Home to a dozen renowned brands like Tostem, Amercian Standard and INAX, it’s the first time for LIXIL to provide end-to-end home solutions experience outside Japan.
“The China market is in the midst of a transformation to a consumer-driven economy, and LIXIL has taken the lead in orienting all its brands toward fulfilling the demand generated by this transformation,” said Bijoy Mohan, CEO of LIXIL Asia Pacific. He added that with the opening of the new full-home store in town, the company is “piloting new business models.”
