THE first Moleskine store in China opened on Tuesday at Shanghai Xintiandi Style on Madang Road, which is designed in a way as to mirror the elegance and simplicity of the legendary notebook.
The 30-square-meter retail space features objects from all the Moleskine collection: notebooks, bags, cases, pens, limited editions, all the classic objects, plus the latest launches. The floor is covered in a map which symbolizes the contemporary nomad's mobile identity: always on the move, discovering new places and living in transit.
The store will also host workshops, exhibitions and creative events to provide fans with the opportunity to get together and express their creativity on their "open platforms."
