FRENCH luxury house Hermes recently rolled out a runway for its 2018 spring-summer collection for men in Shanghai. Set against the backdrop of a spacecraft, the “Fast Forward Men” is more like a futuristic carnival than a normal launching event. Alongside the runway show featuring the brand’s patented Toilbright fabric, there was also a Lab Bar where guests could observe the crafting of leather wares and accessories, a Bespoke Deck showcasing the process and a Space Garage with a display of vehicles Hermes designed for exploring the world.
