FENDI kicks off celebrations for the 15th anniversary of Baguette - the iconic handbag created by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997 and favored by women such as Queen Rania of Jordan to Madonna. Together with a book dedicated to the bag, a website (baguette.fendi.com) has been launched, through which users can interact and access exclusive information and videos. The site will be updated and enriched with new content and surprises in the coming months. And an ongoing exhibition at Plaza 66 presents different versions of the classic, including six vintage Baguette bags, chosen by Silvia Venturini Fendi to be re-edited especially for the occasion. A deceptively small, simple handbag to be carried under the arm like the French loaf from which it takes its name, the Fendi Baguette has been produced in more than 1,000 versions.
