New bank app unveiled

UNITED Overseas Bank China earlier this week unveiled its direct banking mobile app, featuring wealth management solutions and lifestyle offerings. It is the first app of its kind offered by a foreign bank in China.
Using the app, consumers open a UOB bank account remotely to manage their fiances and investments. They will also be able to make appointments with their relationship manager to sign up for other products and services.
UOB has also teamed up with Ctrip, Gewara and other art education organizations to provide a series of travel, entertainment and leisure, parenting and education information and discounted packages.
