Portable speaker unveiled locally

A new portable wireless speaker by Audio maker Beats Electronics has been recently unveiled in China’s mainland market. The Beats Pill, available in black, white and red, is the first to be equipped with tap-to-pair NFC and easy access to Bluetooth audio. The speaker also features a speakerphone that can be paired with smartphones, a built-in microphone for hands-free conferencing and a four-speaker system. The price is 1,700 yuan (US$278). Fans can order a limited edition in pink co-designed by rapper Nicki Minaj from its US website.
