Create own story with cartoons
The newly released iPad app Toon Hero at the iTunes store brings popular cartoon characters to your hands in a new and exciting way. It allows you voice cartoon characters without knowing how to animate, build digital story lines with the characters and make fun with your kids.
Created in New Zealand by Shona Grundy, the CEO of Trigger Happy, her free app comes with a handful of characters and backgrounds to work with; additional ones cost 99 cents a piece.
Licensed characters are available from the Jim Henson Company, Mukpuddy and 108, with backgrounds (jungle, desert, mountains) from the National Geographic Co. Users pick the characters and background, then use the built-in microphone from the iPad to make up voices and stories over the pre-existing animation.
