‘Pleasant Goat’ returns to fight a bad dragon

THE seventh installment of the “Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf” film franchise hit cinemas across China yesterday.
The first six movies in the franchise have grossed more than 756 million yuan (US$121.1 million) combined and developed a large fan base of children all over the country.
It has also become a tradition for many Chinese children and their parents to celebrate the Lunar New Year by watching the film.
The new installment “Amazing Pleasant Goat” premiered last week at Cao Yang Cinema. It centers on the new time-travel adventure of Pleasant Goat to fight an evil dragon. Filled with comedic and fantasy elements, the production tries to cater to people of all ages.
