CHINA Post today launches a special set of six postage stamps and a sheetlet that are based on seven gilded bronze Buddha sculptures on display in different museums around the country. Dated back as early as the Sui Dynasty (AD 581-618), the sculptures are vividly rendered on the stamps, thanks to 3D holography technology. The face value of the set is 12.8 yuan (US$2.09).
