The eighth Yuzhou China Jun Porcelain Culture and Tourism Festival held its grand opening ceremony on Friday. The three-day Jun Porcelain Cultural Festival welcomes both local visitors and foreign tourists.
Yuzhou is an important birthplace of Chinese porcelain. Jun porcelain, with its superb and complex techniques, stands out among China’s five kinds of porcelain, which are Jun, Ru, Guan, Ding and Ge.
The event includes many activities and programs such as a Jun pots designing competition.
The festival also is meant to show the beautiful landscape of Yuzhou, Henan Province, to the world.
