FOR more than 20 years, the Ankylos implant system has been helping dental practitioners around the world recreate beautifully natural smiles for patients.
The system enables dentists to replace missing teeth with long-lasting restorations that look and function just like the real thing.
CAD Dental Center in Shanghai offers this world-leading implant technique. Ankylos implants are made of biologically neutral pure titanium which adapts to patients' own bone structures, providing long-term replacements for missing teeth. The process takes between three months to a year from start to finish.
"The Ankylos implant system adopts a state-of-the-art platform-switching implant concept. According to Choo, other advantages of Ankylos implant include: no inflammation of tissue surrounding the implant; no effect on healthy teeth; customized design without braces; high resemblance to natural teeth; and none of the pain associated with ordinary, ill-fitting dentures.
Moreover, the technique also carries a minimal risk of infection, a low risk of bone loss, short therapy time and is affordable, says Choo.
CAD also prides itself in its international staff who it says strive to make patients feel comfortable through offering a friendly service.
Since its establishment in 2006, CAD has treated around 400 foreign families in Shanghai - around 2,000 people. Its Singapore headquarters has received the award of "Asia's best dental team" in Singapore.
Regina Brauckschulze from Germany is among patients who received Ankylos implants at CAD. She says she is completely satisfied with the entire process, especially highlighting the care and kindness from dental surgeons and dental nurses.
