Extreme games promise thrills, chills and spills
THE Kia World Extreme Games, one of the world’s biggest extreme sporting events, will take place in Shanghai for the eighth year from April 30 to May 3.
Nearly 200 athletes from almost 30 countries and regions will compete in BMX freestyle, aggressive in-line, skateboarding, speed climbing and freestyle motocross events. Athletes include big names like Vince Byron, Andy MacDonald, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, Mitchell Brusco, the Yasutoko brothers and Tom Schaar.
This year’s competition includes freestyle moto X ramp-to-ramp tricks and the spectacular extreme vert jam by six BMX masters.
