London’s leading developer Quintain launches ALTO apartments in North West Village with Colliers International

QUINTAIN Estates and Development PLC, a leading London property investor and developer, will launch ALTO, its latest residential development in North West Village at Wembley Park, in Shanghai on May 9-10 at the The Langham, Xintiandi. Wembley was among the top 10 best performing areas for property price growth last year at more than 20 percent.

Designed by world-renowned architectural practice Flanagan Lawrence, ALTO is a result of sensitive design and well-considered modern touches, which makes it one of the ideal residences for today’s cosmopolitans. Most of the 362 units at ALTO have outdoor space with views of the area’s landscaped Elvin Square Gardens or the private, residents-only courtyard. The higher penthouses and rooftop apartments overlook Wembley Stadium and the London skyline. Quintain is now set to unveil its first phase of the ALTO development, Belcanto Apartments, which comprise one- and two-bedroom apartments that range from 49 square meters to 77 square meters. Prices start from 355,000 pounds (US$547,000). A majority of the units have a balcony or terrace with views onto adjacent Elvin Square Gardens or onto ALTO’s courtyard Water Gardens. Secure underground parking is available with selected apartments.

ALTO residents benefit from an exclusive 24-hour concierge service, a private gym, spa facilities, Zipcar membership, and a Wembley Park card. The larger North West Village and Wembley Park offers fantastic designer outlet shopping and dining, not to mention an array of entertainment options with the SSE Arena, Wembley, Wembley Stadium, and the 1,300-seat 360-degree revolving Wembley Theatre, opening in summer 2016, which will stage the first production of “The Hunger Games.”

Those looking to get somewhere fast, whether for work or for play, can conveniently access the tube, rail and road links that connect ALTO to all parts of London. Wembley Park is one of London’s most significant regeneration projects. Delivering an entertainment and leisure-focused zone that has revitalized Wembley Park with new shops, restaurants and leisure venues, the whole scheme is linked together by new tree-lined boulevards and public spaces.

In March 2014, Quintain launched North West Village — a space for contemporary new homes and a thriving new community that will enjoy Wembley Park’s amenities, events, green spaces, artisanal markets and more. Emerald Gardens was the first phase of North West Village and comprises 475 homes — located around an acre of private landscaped gardens in a total of seven separate buildings.

The landscape and public realm has been an important element throughout the design of North West Village, and is inspired by the traditional London garden square and heritage of the city. Independent design, environment and sustainability consultancy, LDA Design, is the landscape and public realm architect for development. Elvin Square Gardens forms the centerpiece of North West Village and creates an open and spacious landscape, including a large neighborhood park, which incorporates a “playable landscape,” a proposed theatre to the north, ALTO to the west and future residences to the east.
