Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd's Chief Executive Officer, Choe Peng Sum, is indeed pleased with his choice.
In mid-October 2010, the company marked another milestone in the development of its second brand, Modena, with the opening of Modena by Fraser Putuo Shanghai on Tongchuan Road.
"It was never a popular location in the past. However, according to the development plans of local authorities, Zhengru area where Tongchuan Road is located will grow to become one of the four bustling sub-CBDs of Shanghai," Choe said.
Modena, the second brand of Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd, made its debut in China in March 2010 with the opening of the Modena Heping Tianjing and Modena Jinjihu Suzhou soon followed after Modena Putuo. Three properties are scheduled to open over the next two years - Modena Wuxi (2013), Modena Wuhan (2013) and Modena Pudong (2014).
Modena Putuo is within walking distance to Metro Line 7 and only 4 kilometers away from Shanghai Railway Station. Moreover, getting to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport takes only 30 minutes and getting to Pudong International Airport takes only 60 minutes. Residents can enjoy a greater ease of travel to most city activities centers in Shanghai.
The 348 stylish loft-style residences, ranging from one to two-bedroom options, are designed and fitted with modern furnishings, individual balconies and wireless Internet access offering a refreshing lifestyle.
