Snoopy exhibition comes to Hangzhou

A Snoopy sculpture exhibition is underway in Yuhang, Hangzhou, to coincide with the China International Cartoon and Animation Festival.
The exhibition that runs through June 20 is also meant to mark the 65th birthday of the beloved cartoon beagle from the classic Peanut’s comic strip. Over the past year, similar exhibitions have already been hosted in New York, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Shanghai.
The exhibition in Hangzhou will be held at Chao Mountain, a scenic area known for its plum trees.
“The sculptures were designed especially for the mountain’s plum trees,” says Yang Jun, an authorized agent of the Snoopy brand in China.
In total, 65 Snoopy sculptures are situated among the trees and bushes in the East Zone of the mountain, welcoming visitors to take photos with them. Snoopy-themed toys, books and food are available in the Plum Pavilion.
A collection of Snoopy books published in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s are also on display in an abutting hall.

Admission:
• One adult: 60 yuan (US$9.67)
• Set ticket for a single parent with one child (under 1.5 metes all): 90 yuan
• Set ticket for two parents with one child (under 1.5 meters tall): 150 yuan

• From Hangzhou: Shangtang Highway→Desheng Highway→Qiushi Highway→(from Banshan tunnel) to 320 State Road→Longchao Road→Chao Mountain
• From Shanghai: G60 Expressway→(from Linping Exit) to Yingbin Road→Wangmei Road→Wuzhou Road→Chaoshan Road→Chao Mountain
Public Transport
• From Hangzhou: Take Hangzhou Metro Line 1 to Yuhang Railway Station, then take bus No. 786 to Chao Mountain. Get off at the Diema Bridge stop
• From Shanghai: Many trains are scheduled to go to Hangzhou from Shanghai everyday. Get off at Yuhang Railway Station, and then take bus No. 786 to Chao Mountain. Get off at the Diema Bridge Stop.
