AUTUMN is a nice time of year to enjoy a glass of wine or three with friends or that special someone. Dropping temperatures call for crisp wines that can remind people of the changing leaves and clear, cool nights.
In supermarkets such as City Shop or ParknShop, there is often a long aisle devoted to wine. It is true that shoppers can be easily overwhelmed by the variety of wines, vintages and prices.
For those uncertain of how to choose, here are a few tips.
Keep it simple. Identify how much you want to spend, red or white and country of origin. This will help narrow down the list of options and you will feel more confident in picking a wine that will go well with your meal.
