'A Sought for Tranquility'

A 150-foot tall oak tree stands

On the moss covered ground.

The sound of crickets chirp in the distance

And the gulping of frogs down by the pond,

Create a cacophony of noises

That equally sounds melodious.

The morning dew still stands

On the leaves of the oaks and ferns.

Drops fall one by one in succession,

Plop 茅 plop 茅 plop 茅

A beat for the cacophony of noise

Carried from a distance.

That?s what I think of

When I curl up in a ball and hide in between

Two sofas.

Listening to a cacophony of words,

Horrid to the ears,

My heart pumps vigorously,

A beat for the cacophony of words

Carried from a distance.
