Barreling down a mountain on a snowboard

WHISH! Whosh! Whush! I slid down the slope within the blink of an eye. I was on a mountain, in Melbourne, Australia. It was cold, noisy and lively. Mountains of people went whish, whosh, down the big snowy slope, either snowboarding or skiing.

I myself was one of them. I was attending a snowboarding class with my brother. On the first day, I had a half day lesson. I started in level 1. The class took off like an airplane, soon, I was falling down like mad. We started on a little slope, but I still failed. But luckily, I managed to control myself and was promoted to level 2. But level 2 was for the next day …

During the next day, I had a full day lesson. This time, we went for the real slope. The slope was not very steep. It was maybe about 30-35 degrees. We joined classes with two other children named Tobi and Guy. They were really nice kids. And before we even knew it, we were like old friends and were going down the slope together.

I was the best among the four and didn’t fall as much, that’s why I kept helping the others. We had a really great time. Snowboarding. Snowball fight. Lunch. Nothing could be better. It is a divine memory. Despite the cold temperature, having fun together kept us warm, energized and ready to go.

The next day, I just went around exploring the place. Later, I said goodbye to Tobi and Guy, returning to city life.
