Blue plastic bank

From space, the Earth looks like a blue marble with white swirls. Majority parts of ocean make up the color of blue. Oceans cover almost three quarters of the Earth’s surface. But there’s a devil hidden in the water — plastic. It’s a man-made material that we use every day and could never go away. Now plastic pollution is everywhere. This devil destroys the marine ecological environment and would eventually affect the survival of human beings.

Now, people have sounded the wakeup call of marine plastic pollution and are tending to reduce the pollution. I, myself, have some ideas and suggestions on plastic pollution and marine protection.

After doing a series of researches, I have learned that the most common way for plastic to reach ocean is via storm sewers and rivers. Plastic is not biodegradable and it disintegrates into billions and billions of tiny pieces called micro plastics, which are carried to the farthest reaches and deepest depths of the world’s oceans by the ocean current.

A person’s power is too small, just like a small piece of plastic, but together we can do a lot of things. Therefore, I want to gather these pieces of power and do more to contribute to this issue, and that’s why spreading the concept of marine protection is a necessary step to take. I came up with a plan called ‘Blue’ Plastic Bank. The essence of the plan is to encourage people to recycle, classify and reuse plastic. At the same time, it helps users put the concept of environmental protection into all aspects of life.
